The Parkrun is obviously a no brainer, not even sure I need to explain about this one but if running isn't for you then some apps will even pay you vouchers, rewards or donations to charity to walk. Sweatcoin, Win Walk, Charity Miles, Vitality Rewards
Apparently there are over 1,000 outdoor gyms in places such as local parks or open recreation areas. You can find out via your local council's website, Or try looking at The Great Outdoor Gym Company, and Fresh Air Fitness by inputting your postcode. NB some are installed at schools or businesses only so you just need to make sure it's a public used one. Some of these places have up to 20 pieces of equipment per gym (although it will only be resistance based so depends on your weight as to how much a workout you get) and a lot of the equipment is the same as stuff you'd find in the gyms that you pay for – cross trainers, seated rowers, pull up bars etc
I had never heard of this before I started googling this, but it sounds like a great idea if you want to do your bit for the Community. There is a non-profit organisation called GoodGym. So basically your workout will benefit local people e.g. gardening, moving heavy furniture, picking up litter etc
